Nuggets' Murray Sinks Buzzer-Beater, Stuns Lakers in Game 2
Murray Drains 15-Footer to Seal 2-0 Series Lead

In a thrilling game that came down to the final seconds, Jamal Murray of the Denver Nuggets drained a 15-foot step-back jumper at the buzzer to stun the Los Angeles Lakers 117-116 in Game 2 of their Western Conference playoff series.
Murray's heroic shot came after the Nuggets had rallied from a 20-point deficit in the second half. The Lakers led by 16 points with less than three minutes remaining, but Murray and his teammates refused to give up.
Murray scored 14 of his team-high 29 points in the fourth quarter, including the game-winner over the outstretched arm of Lakers center Anthony Davis.
"I knew I had to make a big play," Murray said after the game. "My teammates did a great job of getting me the ball, and I just had to knock it down."
The Nuggets now have a 2-0 lead in the series, which shifts to Denver for Games 3 and 4 on Friday and Sunday.
